Speakers Biography
2023 Is Tracie Barnett's 30th year in Dentistry.
In 1994, Tracie started her career as a trainee dental nurse in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Originally from Leeds, Tracie moved to Doncaster 1 year ago, and settled in a quite village called Hatfield Woodhouse. Although a little different from the big city she loves, she soon discovered her love for walking in the local area. When not walking or spending time with her family Tracie enjoys reading and loves to put her hand to any DIY job.
Over 23 years, she grew experience in NHS and private practice's, emergency dental clinics and offered her help as a locum nurse.
Almost 6 years ago Tracie had a change in career and became a treatment coordinator, she has helped practices create a world class digital patient journey. Soon after she gained an advanced diploma in Treatment Coordination, making her the first in Yorkshire to hold the qualification, and only the second in the UK.
Over the last 2 years Tracie has devoted lots of her time and passion to mentoring other TCO's and dental nurses, she holds a level 3 qualification in education and training.
More recently, Tracie delivers courses educating dental nurses, new and experienced TCOs, in Intra oral scanning, and excelling the perfect Invisalign patient journey.
In addition, she is frequently asked to speak about digital dentistry and speaks often for Align.
Tracie has a monthly column for the FMC and has also been featured in many other articles.
