2024 marks Tracie Barnett's 30th year in Dentistry!

With over 23 years of dental nurse experience, in both NHS and private practices, emergency dental clinics, and as a sought-after locum nurse, Tracie has honed her skills and expertise. 7 years ago, she underwent a transformative career shift, becoming a clinical treatment coordinator. In this role, Tracie plays a pivotal role in helping practices establish a world-class digital patient journey. She achieved an advanced diploma in treatment coordination, becoming the first in Yorkshire to hold this qualification and only the second in the UK.

In the past two years, Tracie has dedicated a significant portion of her time and boundless passion to mentor other treatment coordinators and dental nurses. Armed with a Level 3 qualification in education and training, she is committed to sharing her extensive knowledge with peers.

Recently, Tracie has been actively involved in delivering courses focused on educating dental nurses and both new and experienced treatment coordinators in Intraoral scanning, and optimising the perfect Invisalign patient journey.

Furthermore, she is frequently called upon to speak about digital dentistry, often representing Align. Tracie also contributes a monthly column to the FMC and has been featured in numerous other articles, showcasing her expertise and commitment to advancing the field.
